A Bit About Me
Hello, everyone! My name is Charles and I am a TEFL certified, ESL teacher from Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. With over five years of experience teaching English to university students and adults, I've helped countless students from across the globe achieve their goals of becoming proficient English speakers. You might ask yourself: "What makes you different from other tutors?" With so many English teachers to choose from, that's a fair question! My answer is simple; I've been in your shoes before and know from my own experience that learning a new language is hard work. This has helped me grow not only as a teacher, but as a student, as well!

While living in Freiburg, Germany, I worked with university students to prepare them for IELTS exams, improve their grammar, and practice conversational skills. You can say this was the start of it all!
During my time in this position, I implemented treatment plans for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder while working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This role provided me with the tools I needed to enhance my understanding of early childhood development and human behavior.
After leaving my position as a Behavioral Therapist, I returned to the classroom (well virtually that is, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic). Since early 2022, I've been helping students from around the world improve their English skills, one step at a time.
